Terms for participating in the free Ctesiphon Protocol beta.

1. Operator and acceptance
Raúl Guerrero Esteve operates Ctesiphon Protocol, located in Atizapán de Zaragoza, State of Mexico. Contact: ctesiphon@earenlabs.com. Registration requires confirming you are at least 18 and accepting these terms. You must have legal capacity to use the service under applicable law.
2. Accounts and security
Confirm your email using the link sent to complete a new registration. Use your own accessible email, protect your password and report unauthorized access. Nicknames are allowed. Do not impersonate others or share credentials to bypass restrictions. You are responsible for your own actions; this does not automatically attribute third-party actions to you or remove our security obligations.
3. Campaigns and Warmasters
The app organizes campaigns, records actions and displays results. Warmasters manage their campaign’s participants, settings and decisions. Rules and results disputes should initially be raised with them; technical faults and abuse may be reported to Ctesiphon. We do not guarantee wins, prizes or official recognition of rankings.
Ctesiphon does not and will not provide features for Warmasters to charge players. It does not collect, intermediate or guarantee payments agreed outside the app. Such agreements concern their parties, without excluding any legal responsibility of the operator for its own acts.
4. Beta and availability
The beta is free. It may contain errors, experience outages or require data corrections and feature changes. Uninterrupted availability and dates for future features are not guaranteed. We will address incidents with available resources. Beta status does not exclude applicable legal obligations.
5. Conduct and moderation
Harassment, threats, discrimination, impersonation, unauthorized disclosure of others’ data, fraud, spam, unauthorized access and exploiting faults to alter campaigns or harm the service are prohibited. Report faults without exploiting them or accessing others’ information.
Minor or correctable violations may receive a warning and a request to correct them. Threats, fraud, data exposure, attacks or other serious risks may result in immediate content removal or suspension. Measures will be proportionate. Reasons will be communicated where lawful and safe; you may request review by email.
6. Content and intellectual property
You retain rights to your content and must have permission to share it. You authorize hosting, processing, reproduction and display only as needed to operate the service under campaign permissions and the privacy notice. This does not transfer ownership or authorize promotional use without specific permission.
Ctesiphon is independent and is not officially affiliated with, authorized or sponsored by Games Workshop. Third-party trademarks and materials belong to their owners; these terms grant no rights to them. Report suspected infringement by email, identifying the content and affected right.
7. Contributions and refunds
Ko-fi contributions are voluntary. They do not purchase access, exclusive features, rewards, game advantages, project ownership or development of specific features. They are not required to use the beta.
Send duplicate or mistaken payment refund requests to ctesiphon@earenlabs.com, including the transaction reference and reason. Do not send passwords or full card details. We will verify payments and process refunds through the original provider and payment method, never to third parties or alternative accounts.
Ctesiphon does not charge or retain its own fees for handling refunds. For voluntary refunds of duplicate or mistaken contributions, and only where applicable law and provider rules permit, the contribution will be returned less transaction fees actually charged and not returned by Ko-fi (the contributions platform), PayPal and/or Stripe (payment providers), depending on which services were involved. We will not deduct fees that were not charged, fees recovered, or any additional amount for Ctesiphon. Before processing, we will disclose the original amount, a verifiable breakdown of unrecoverable fees and the net refund. Where a full refund is legally required, these deductions will not apply.
If a deduction requires a partial refund, it will be processed directly through PayPal or Stripe as applicable, since Ko-fi’s refund tool supports full refunds only.
Where the amount or transaction characteristics require additional security review, we will coordinate with the payment provider or bank and explain the process. An amount alone does not imply illegal activity or remove the right to make a claim. Mandatory rights remain protected. Posting times depend on the provider and bank.
8. Privacy and account closure
Read the privacy notice for data processing, account closure and your rights. Accepting these terms does not authorize advertising. Suspension does not remove data rights. Shared results and backups follow the notice, without promising automated processes that are not yet enabled.
9. Changes, third parties and liability
Material changes or planned closure will be communicated with reasonable advance notice where possible. Urgent security or legal measures may apply immediately. There will be no retroactive charges or automatic consent to new advertising purposes.
External services also have their own terms. Each party’s responsibility depends on its actions and applicable law. These terms do not exclude mandatory liability or shift the operator’s own obligations to users.
10. Contact and disputes
Contact ctesiphon@earenlabs.com with questions, reports or complaints. These terms are interpreted under Mexican law without displacing mandatory protections applicable to users in other jurisdictions. Contacting us is not a prerequisite to approaching competent authorities and does not waive your rights.
